KOKEDAMA Tiny Workshop // MARCH 2ND & 9TH

$65.00

Join us in welcoming Spring by learning the Japanese art of KOKEDAMA at our upcoming TINY WORKSHOP!

Kokedama, which translates to "moss ball" in English, offers a delightful and creative way to grow and showcase plants, making it an ideal project for the season. These charming moss balls require minimal materials, most of which you can easily find around your home and garden. Once you master this technique, you'll be able to create beautiful plant displays whenever you wish.

In this workshop, we’ll guide you through the entire process. We’ll kick things off with a quick demonstration by Malorie, followed by a hands-on session where we’ll craft our Kokedamas together.

We’ll be using daffodil bulbs to create our own Kokedamas, filling your space with the lovely fragrance of spring flowers and fresh moss. Since these creations need regular watering, we’ll provide elegant ceramic bowls for you to take home along with your plant. Additionally, we’ll discuss the traditional method of hanging kokedamas, giving you the option to choose how you want to display your new plant.

Get ready for a wonderfully MESSY experience! We’ll be working with fresh moss, damp soil, and flower bulbs. Aprons will be available, but we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty!

A friendly reminder: TINY WORKSHOPS are intimate, with only 6 spots available per class. If you’re planning to attend as a group, we highly suggest purchasing all your spots in one go, as we can’t guarantee group availability for separate sign-ups

Your ticket price includes:

  • A short lesson to learn the technique.

  • All tools you’ll need to create your moss balls.

  • Spring flower bulb to to plant up.

  • Plenty of personal, hands-on support.

  • A beautiful ceramic dish to take home for watering & displaying your Kokedama.

  • Light refreshments & snacks.
